The Young People’s Chorus of New York City will give a concert of songs and poems by Leonard Cohen and others to coincide with the Jewish Museum exhibition, “Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything.” under the direction of Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Núñez. YPC is a longtime and frequent collaborator with Bang on a Can, and has forged a unique presence in the city’s music community for its innovative vocal arrangements and as a groundbreaking commissioner and performer of new music for young voices by today’s leading composers.
