PRIVATE EVENTThe Young People’s Chorus of New York City, Founder/Artistic Director/MacArthur Fellow Francisco J. Núñez, Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez, and YPC Vocal Area Coordinator Sarah Knight present an intimate Master Class by celebrated countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo. Mr. Costanzo is currently reprising the title role of Akhnaten at the Metropolitan Opera and will share his expertise for this once-in-a-lifetime evening. Selected YPC choristers aspiring to careers in music will each sing an aria for Mr. Roth Costanzo’s comments. Based on his years of thrilling audiences throughout the world, he will inspire the singers with suggestions on technique, musicality, rapport with the audience, and perhaps share one or two secrets on how he transforms each aria into a breathtaking song of beauty.
