In 2020, YPC pivoted to virtual programming with the launch of “Hello Singers,” a series of pre-recorded virtual lessons that expanded the reach of YPC’s school choruses to include the entire student body. Under the direction of Elizabeth Núñez, YPC’s Associate Artistic Director, this hybrid model has been distributed to schools across New York City, with the option for live, online synchronous sessions with a YPC conductor and accompanist. The culmination of this new curriculum, Hello Singers–The Big Sing is a virtual event for all participating chorus members, their families, and the wider YPC community.
