Ellen Reid SOUNDWALK is a GPS-enabled work of free public art that uses music to illuminate the natural environment. Created by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Ellen Reid, SOUNDWALK is tailor-made for Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, created to encourage calm reflection and introspection, and can be experienced while following social distancing guidelines.
The expansive score for Ellen Reid SOUNDWALK features music performed by the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, Francisco J. Núñez, Founder / Artistic Director.
