Young People’s Chorus of New York City returns to Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival this summer as featured artists in the New York production premiere of Leonard Bernstein’s MASS: a theater piece for singers, players, and dancers.

In two fully staged performances at David Geffen Hall, Mostly Mozart Artistic Director Louis Langrée conducts the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra and a huge cast of singers, musicians, and dancers in this lavish work, which incorporates rock, gospel, and song woven together with tone rows, marches, and chorales, described by The New York Times as “An extravagant, exuberant and endlessly inventive creation.”

Performance length: One hour and 50 minutes, no intermission
