YPC Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Núñez will be among a distinguished group of artist leaders, who are transforming the arts in America, to give TED-style talks in an ArtChangeUS@SHIFT forum as part of this week-long SHIFT Festival of American Orchestras.
YPC MAKES ITS TENNESSEE DEBUT IN ITS FIRST TOUR OF THE SEASON

FRIDAY EVENING CONCERT WITH LIVE-STREAM
Don’t miss this exciting YPC performance by 42 Young People’s Chorus of New York City singers in their Tennessee debut, which will be live-streamed from Lee University’s Pangle Hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. The concert is conducted by YPC Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Núñez, who recently received Lee University’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
SATURDAY MORNING MASTERCLASS
Francisco J. Núñez and Elizabeth Núñez will present Informing the Sound: A Music Education and Choral Performance Masterclass, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Curtsinger Music Building, Choral Rehearsal Room. Admission is free and no registration is required.
AN AFTERNOON OF CHORAL ARTISTRY IN BETHEL WOODS

YPC’s award-winning choristers will weave together a program of choral classics, spirituals, songs from the Broadway stage, and many surprises, complete with show-stopping choreography in their Woodstock area debut. An Afternoon of Choral Artistry is conducted by Francisco Núñez and Elizabeth Núñez, and presented by Shandelee Music Festival in collaboration with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
4th Annual WIT: Women Inspiring Tomorrow Conference
Saturday, April 28 at 12:00 p.m. | Grand Hyatt Hotel
YPC will hold its 4th Annual WIT Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Under the direction of Elizabeth Núñez, WIT serves the young women and alumnae of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City by encouraging mentoring relationships with accomplished women from various professions as part of YPC’s College Bound Program. This year’s conference theme is Encourage and Engage, and will include networking opportunities and a formal lunch.
