Young People’s Chorus of New York City culminates its 30th anniversary year with a return to the grandeur of Carnegie Hall for a very special Winter Holiday concert.

Choristers from the Young People’s Chorus of New York City will be joined by young singers from 15 other youth choruses from China, Finland, Ireland, and six U.S. states for a DCINY 10th anniversary concert at Carnegie Hall.  The concert will be highlighted by world premiere works composed and conducted by Francisco J. Núñez, artistic director/founder of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, and Venezuelan composer/conductor Cristian Grases.

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City makes the holiday season even brighter with a festive concert that celebrates the many ways New York City families commemorate the holidays. Led by YPC Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Nunez and Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Nunez, YPC’s award-winning choristers will be joined by Metropolitan Opera star Ailyn Pérez in program of holiday favorites, international gems, and some very special surprises. This fun-filled concert for the whole family will take place in Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium.

Young People’s Chorus of New York City conducted by Maria Peña join choruses from Japan and the U.S. in a program of international songs. This free concert is being presented to benefit victims of the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami and local and international communities in need.
