Emma’s love for music and people brought her to YPC, and through her work, she hopes to inspire not just a love of music, but a love of working together towards something you could never achieve alone.

Emma is beginning her fifth year at YPC. She joined the organization upon graduating from Yale University, where she also worked as a Teaching Artist for the Yale Music in Schools Initiative. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a certificate in Education Studies.  In 2021, Emma received her Master of Music in Music Education from the University of Hartford’s The Hartt School. She is currently finishing her Kodály certification.  She grew up in New Jersey, just outside of NYC.
