Young People’s Chorus of New York City, under the direction of YPC Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Núñez, has been selected to take part in the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Eastern Region Conference in Rochester, New York.
While in Rochester, YPC choristers will perform two concerts at Rochester’s historic Hochstein School of Music. Accompanied by pianist Taisiya Pushkar, and featuring choreography by Jacquelyn Bird, both concerts will take place on Friday, March 6 at 9:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Choirs from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, and Massachusetts competed for one of the highly-coveted individual concert sessions and YPC is one of only 13 choruses selected to perform.
