Young People’s Chorus of New York City performs “Odyssey: A Youth Opera” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on November 3-4 as part of the MetLiveArts series


The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s MetLiveArts series has announced its November performance lineup.

Odyssey: A Youth Opera [New York Premiere]
Friday, November 3, 7 p.m., and Saturday, November 4, 2 and 7 p.m., in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium

From bloodthirsty monsters to enticing sirens, Odysseus faces down every obstacle imaginable as he sails home from war in this one-hour opera retelling of Homer’s epic tale. First commissioned by The Glimmerglass Festival, this all-new production features images of art from across The Met collection.
