Women Inspiring Tomorrow: Mentorship Program for Girls
Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Núñez creates a new mentoring program for YPC high school girls. Women Inspiring Tomorrow, WIT, empowers girls to take charge of their destinies and prepare for success under the mentorship of professionally accomplished women.
“WIT-iquette” sessions teach girls skills such as how to dress professionally and how to best introduce themselves to professionals in the workplace.
Equipped with their own business cards, YPC’s teenaged choristers attend Annual WIT Conferences, where they can begin to cultivate a network of supportive role models: “WITPros.”
