On Friday, September 25, the Young People’s Chorus of New York city was invited by the Archdiocese of New York to sing for Pope Francis at the multi-religious gathering seen worldwide from the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. YPC was especially honored, as the pope’s message of unity and inclusiveness is the mission on which YPC was founded 28 years ago.Under the director of Francisco J. Núñez, the YPC choristers sang a special arrangement of Let There Be Peace on Earth before an audience that included representatives of world religions.
