YPC premieres Hello Singers! Big Sing for School Chorus Partners
On June 11, 2021 YPC premiered its first ever Hello Singers! Big Sing. The sing-along was an interactive culmination of YPC’s pilot ten-episode music education series titled “Hello Singers!” Created for New York City public schoolchildren, YPC’s Hello Singers! education program taught children how to warm their voices, relax their bodies, read rhythms, hear melodic intervals, add dance steps to singing, read scores and more. The Big Sing concert streamed at YPC.org at 7 pm ET that evening and featured YPC staff members, a live band, and 360 degree technology, filmed at National Sawdust in Brooklyn, NY.
