Young People’s Chorus of New York City Streaming Live! — Saks Fifth Avenue Window Unveiling
Monday, November 25 at 7:00 p.m.
YPC opens the Yuletide season with Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual holiday window unveiling, featuring a spectacular display inspired by Disney’s new animated film Frozen 2. YPC’s performance will begin about three minutes into the ceremony, and there are several ways to watch in real time: in person at 5th Avenue and 50th Street, via the live-stream on saks.com/holiday and disney.com, or on the Jumbotron in Times Square above the Disney store and Times Square studios.
Ypc Performs with Broadway Legend Idina Menzel at the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

YPC returns to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, this year joining Tony award-winning Broadway star Idina Menzel in a performance of “Sleigh Ride.” Watch the parade live in person, or on NBC-TV for over-the-top fun, epic balloons and floats, major stars and, of course, the Young People’s Chorus of New York City!

YPC Presents Winter Wonder: A Festive Holiday Concert

Share the joy of the season with YPC at Winter Wonder: A Festive Holiday Concert, a New York holiday tradition beloved by families across the city. Led by YPC Founder / Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez and Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Núñez, this year’s concert takes place at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall on Sunday, December 8, at 4:00 p.m. and features Metropolitan Opera star Nadine Sierra and dramatic baritone Lester Lynch. New York’s Oldest Christmas Tradition – Clement Clarke Moore Candlelight Service and Celebration
Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m. | Church of the Intercession
YPC, led by Assistant Conductor Gia Gan, returns to the Church of the Intercession to sing the musical prelude in the Church’s 109th holiday candlelight reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s “Twas the Night Before Christmas” (A Visit from Saint Nicholas). Following the reading, by WPIX11 News Anchor Kaity Tong, audience members can join in a lantern procession and wreath-laying ceremony at Moore’s mausoleum at Trinity Church, across from the Church of the Intercession, a tradition that began in 1911. The performance and reading are free and open to the public.
On Christmas Day at 3 p.m., tune into PIX-11 for a one-hour TV special of this year’s Clement Clarke Moore holiday event.
40th Annual “A City Singing at Christmas”
Thursday, December 19 at 7:00 p.m. | St. Patrick’s Cathedral
YPC joins the Orpheus Men’s Chorus, The Cathedral Organs and St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir, and the New York Symphonic Brass in St. Patrick’s Cathedral’s 40th annual “A City Singing at Christmas,” with a program of traditional and contemporary Christmas hymns and carols. Seating is free and open to the public–come early for the best seats!
