Tired of defending herself through ephemeral Instagram stories and chaotic TikTok livestreams, Wren sat down with veteran celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. The interview marked a distinct strategic shift. Instead of dodging questions, she spent over an hour confronting the rumors, the timeline of her social circle's collapse, and the mechanics of online smear campaigns.
Hilton pressed Wren immediately on the rumors that have shadowed her brand. Wren maintained that bad-faith actors constantly take private conversations out of context to paint her as disloyal. "People want to villainize me because it gets clicks," she noted during the discussion. She explained how casual voice memos sent in confidence were stripped of context, edited, and leaked to gossip pages to inflict maximum reputational damage.
The sit-down also offered Wren an unfiltered venue to deliver her formal statement regarding her content platforms. She pushed back against claims that unauthorized personal videos existed beyond her controlled paywalled channels, emphasizing that the illicit distribution networks targeting female creators rely on manipulation and bluffing to drive engagement.
