Q1: Did Dave England actually throw up during the fart mask stunt?
A1: Yes. The sealed container and concentrated sulfur fumes triggered severe involuntary retching. Outtakes confirm England vomited immediately after ripping the rubber mask off his face, requiring production medics to check his airway.
Q2: Why didn't the production team use a prop mask with open vents?
A2: The creative philosophy of the franchise demanded genuine physical reactions. Using open vents or artificial odors would have diluted the authentic panic and nausea that made the sequence so visceral on camera.
Q3: Was Steve-O forced into doing the prank, or was it planned?
A3: The stunt was mutually conceived and agreed upon by the cast and director Jeff Tremaine during pre-production brainstorming. Steve-O and Dave England routinely volunteered for gastrointestinal stunts throughout the franchise's run.
