While the live-action leads dominated screen time, the residents of the fictional town were brought to life by an intricate combination of elite animatronics, voice performers, and puppeteers trained at Jim Henson's Creature Shop. When the production revived for Seasons 3 and 4 in 2013, Connecticut native Chloe Lang took over the mantle of Stephanie. Following her stint in Garðabær, Iceland, where the series was shot inside a massive soundstage, Lang returned to the United States. She graduated from Pace University in New York, released independent pop tracks, and maintains a substantial social media following where she periodically shares self-deprecating memories of wearing the pink wig abroad.
