- Launch Textra SMS, tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner, and select Settings.
- Navigate to Customize Look and tap Emoji Style.
- Select your preferred visual presentation:
- Choose iOS Style for clean five o'clock shadows and standard iPhone compatibility.
- Choose JoyPixels for textured stubble, distinct whiskers, and high cheek shading.
- Choose Twemoji for high-contrast outlines and clear visibility on low-brightness displays.
- If a selected style displays missing glyph boxes (tofu), tap Download next to the pack to update the font asset directly from the Google Play Store.
Using these app-level overrides ensures you see the intended facial hair details regardless of what Samsung, Motorola, or Google defaults your phone's operating system uses.
