Q1: Where is Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course located, and who can play?
The course is located at 1580 Sun Valley Road in Solana Beach, California, just east of Interstate 5. It is fully open to the general public, welcoming golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players looking to sharpen their short game.
Q2: How does the par 56 layout differ from standard championship tracks?
A typical regulation course runs par 70 to 72 with multiple par-4s and par-5s, stretching across 6,000 to 7,200 yards. This William F. Bell layout features 16 par-3s and two par-4s across 2,431 total yards. You can complete an entire 18-hole round in roughly two and a half to three hours.
Q3: How do charity golf events directly benefit Veterans Village of San Diego?
Proceeds generated through player registrations, hole sponsorships, silent auctions, and putting competitions go straight toward VVSD’s operations. These funds directly finance transitional housing, veteran meal services, post-traumatic counseling, and specialized job placement assistance throughout San Diego County.
Q4: Do players need an official handicap or club membership to book tee times?
No. There are no club membership requirements or handicap restrictions. Tee times can be booked online by anyone up to a week in advance, with equitable green fees that run well below regional resort rates.
