Q1: What are the original names and colors of the Powerpuff Girls?
The original trio consists of Blossom (pink dress, red hair bow), Bubbles (sky-blue dress, blonde pigtails), and Buttercup (lime-green dress, short black bob).
Q2: Why does Buttercup not have a distinct elemental superpower like her sisters?
Craig McCracken designed Buttercup to be the purest physical combatant. While Blossom developed ice breath and Bubbles gained sonic projection and animal fluency, Buttercup's unique trait within the show lore is the humorous ability to curl her tongue, offset by higher natural physical durability and ferocious hand-to-hand brawling skills.
Q3: Is the purple Powerpuff Girl considered canonical?
Yes. Bunny was created in season two of the original series run by Craig McCracken. Though her physical form dissolved at the end of the episode after saving her sisters, she remains an established figure within the original series continuity.
