The rumor gained traction because of its timing. Following the conclusion of the Hashira Training Arc, fans have been hungry for any glimpse of the promised Infinity Castle theatrical trilogy. When short, unwatermarked snippets of Kokushibo, Doma, and Akaza began appearing in viral TikTok anime edits, the algorithms treated them as breaking entertainment news. Soundtracked by ominous, bass-heavy audio design, the clips accumulated tens of millions of views across short-form platforms within days.
The pacing of the clips matches the suspenseful tone of the Upper Rank Meeting seen early in the Swordsmith Village Arc. Comment sections quickly fragmented into two camps. One group celebrated what they believed was an insider leak from Japan, while the other scrutinized the frame rate and edge-compositing for tells. By the time viewers traced the footage back to creator illuxxtrandy's original social channels, the narrative had already spun out of control. Repost accounts stripped the original creator credits, presenting the work as raw studio production assets.
