The height discourse exploded during an unscheduled joint broadcast in late 2025. Rakai appeared on camera beside several prominent streaming peers, prompting an instant reaction from thousands of live viewers. For months, fans watching regular desk-bound broadcasts assumed Rakai was significantly taller due to a tightly framed, low-angled webcam placement.
The moment Rakai stood up to greet a guest, the chat erupted. Clip channels cropped the interaction within minutes, uploading vertical videos to TikTok and YouTube Shorts that garnered millions of impressions. Speculation swung between extremes. Skeptics claimed Rakai stood no taller than 5 feet 7 inches, while defensive fans pointed to older solo room-tour broadcasts to argue for 6 feet flat. The debate quickly became an enduring community meme.
