Plex was born on September 20, 2001. That makes him 24 years old, placing him directly on the cusp of Generation Z's cultural leadership. For years, digital speculation inflated or trimmed his actual age, with some forums asserting he was born in 1999 and others insisting he had barely reached 20 during his major stadium debuts.
His age matters because it underscores the breakneck velocity of his career trajectory. By age 18, Alonso had already achieved financial independence through algorithmic distribution. By age 21, he had weathered his first round of fierce online controversies regarding exotic pets, publicly course-corrected, and relaunched his brand with an ambitious Jules Verne-inspired series: visiting dozens of countries around the world within strict time limits.
Reaching adulthood entirely in front of rolling cameras alters a creator's public profile. Where older streamers maintain sharp lines between private existence and public broadcasts, Alonso's coming-of-age unfolded live across multiple continents. His 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd birthdays were each marked by dedicated high-production videos, functioning as generational markers for his young audience.
