DESCRIPTION:« All Events \n\n\n\n\nYPC SCREENS THE CANONS PROJECT AT HUDSON YARDS\nOCTOBER 10\, 2022 \n  \n\n\n\n\nOn behalf of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City\, Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez has been invited to take part in Hudson Yards’ and Project Healthy Minds’ day of special events spotlighting global mental health\, education\, and advocacy. Along with fitness classes and fireside chats\, there will be an outdoor screening of The Canons Project\, a video conceptualized by Francisco J. Núñez that features commissions from 15 of today’s renowned composers and the voices of nearly 600 YPC choristers who recorded themselves during the height of the COVID-19 lockdown in NYC.
