Modern clickbait operations select targets using engagement math rather than random selection. Brandon Lake serves as a high-value subject because of his massive, highly engaged Christian music following. His catalog commands millions of monthly streaming listeners, while his live tours consistently sell out multi-thousand-seat arenas across North America.
Pairing Lake with *The View* is a calculated choice. The daytime program has stood as a lightning rod for cultural and political debate for decades. Producers and online satirists alike recognize that the show’s name prompts immediate emotional reactions. When low-tier video creators invent a confrontation between an unapologetic Christian worship leader and progressive media personalities, viewers click out of loyalty, indignation, or partisan curiosity.
These videos generate significant ad revenue. Platforms pay creators based on viewer retention and engagement metrics, which skyrocket when furious commenters argue over events that never transpired. The creators bear no accountability for inaccuracies, frequently deleting flagged videos only to upload slight variations under fresh account handles.
